Большинство из тех, кто занимается росписью миниатюры, несомненно, знакомы с сайтом Putty&Paint. Заявленный как сообщество миниатюристов, члены которого могут делится своим искусством, по сути он является онлайн-галереей миниатюры, получившей сегодня всемирную известность и признание. Ежедневно здесь появляются новые работы, представляют результаты своего творчества ведущие художники миниатюристы. И хотя создатели Putty and Paint позиционируют свою галерею как внежанровую, здесь редко увидишь модели техники и фигурки в 35м масштабе. Основную массу работ составляет историческая и фэнтези миниатюра. Сегодня здесь уже выставлено более 23 тысяч работ почти шести тысяч художников-миниатюристов со всего мира. Все участники проект имеют возможность голосовать за понравившиеся работы. На основе этих оценок формируются оценки отдельных работ и рейтинги авторов. Взглянув на топ позиции рейтингов нельзя не признать, что эти оценки весьма объективны.
После опубликования недавно законченного бюста немецкого танкиста , работа внезапно получила довольно высокую оценку сообщества. Вскоре были оценены и другие работы и даже рейтинг появился. И хотя за спиной уже призы и победы многочисленных конкурсов и выставок, публикации в престижных журналах, постоянно растущий вал заказов, для меня это золото - несомненный успех и определенное признание. Однако, сравнение с великими мастерами жанра позволяет понять, как упорно придется работать, сколько всего нужно узнать и освоить. А еще открывает новые горизонты творчества и новую мотивацию.
Спасибо всем, кто обратил внимание на мои работы и отдал за них свой голос. Особенно хочу отметить всех, кто поддерживал меня в моих начинаниях - сочувствием и пониманием, советами и замечаниями, заказами и совместными проектами. Most of those who paint or sculpt miniatures are undoubtedly familiar with the Putty & Paint site. Billed as a community whose members can share their art, it is essentially an online miniature gallery that has gained worldwide fame and recognition today. Every day new works appear here, leading miniaturists present the results of their work. And although the creators of Putty and Paint position their gallery as non-genre, you rarely see models of equipment and figurines in 35 scale here. The bulk of the works are historical and fantasy miniatures. Today, more than 23 thousand works of almost six thousand miniaturists from all over the world are exhibited here. All project participants have the opportunity to vote for their favorite work. On the basis of these ratings, ratings of individual works and authors are formed. Looking at the top positions of the ratings, one cannot but admit that these assessments are very objective.
After the publication of the recently completed bust of a German tanker, the work suddenly received quite high praise from the community. Soon other works were evaluated and even a rating appeared. And although there are already prizes and victories of numerous competitions and exhibitions behind me, publications in prestigious magazines, a constantly growing wave of orders, for me this gold is an undoubted success and a certain recognition. However, comparison with the great masters of the genre allows you to understand how hard you have to work, how much you need to learn and master. It also opens up new horizons for creativity and new motivation.
