In Russia, tests are underway, universal mine layers (UMP) of several weight categories. The lightest is based on the Typhoon-VDV wheeled armored car, the heaviest is based on the T-90 tank. The task of these machines is to scatter thousands of mines on the way of the enemy and form an impassable minefield in a matter of minutes. The author of the program, Alexei Egorov, will visit the closed workshops of the enterprise, where they have designed and built new combat vehicles, and will also check their effectiveness at the test site, where minelayers will set up a training minefield, which he will try to cross.
